What do you do when you have found out your partner is cheating on you and finally decided to leave. You move out and take all your stuff with you, hoping that it will be the last time you ever see them again.
You rightly think that they are no longer interested in you or else they would not have cheated on you in the first place. However, you have only been away for a couple of weeks and you start getting the feeling you are being watched. Someone is following you, and you are getting phone calls at strange times of the day!
If this happens to you the first thing you should do is call the police, stalking is a crime and you should make sure it stops. Keep track of when and where you feel you are being followed/watched, and take the license plates of any suspicious vehicles you see.
If you are getting strange calls, take a note of the number and pass it on to the police. Now we all now it will take some time for the police to get involved in your case, so in the mean time there are a few things you can do.
First take all the strange numbers and pass them through the reverse phone database here. Then pass on any information you get to the police - do not confront any one about this. Remember if someone is stalking you it is much different than them cheating on you. Unfortunately cheating is not a crime but stalking is. This type of behavior can be dangerous and you can be assured that the person is not in a very stable frame of mind.

Again be sure you pass this information on to the police and do not act on it yourself.
